Underneath the Problem of the Anthropocene is a view that humankind has the right to manipulate, create, destroy and alter other species and our surroundings. This view is called Anthropocentrism - placing the human in the center and on top. People are becoming increasingly alienated from their natural environment. To counteract this, and to raise awareness of our dependence and interconnectedness, this must also find a place in education.

The Non-Human Teacher project pushes anthropomorphism to its limits, speculating that Non-humans will start to invoice humans for their services. Since the anthropocentric perspectives are based on validation we imagined a very anthropomorphic scenario in which we „finally“ see Non-humans as equal.
